Disconnect or Uninstall Inbox Spam Filter

This guide covers disconnecting or uninstalling Inbox Spam Filter from a HubSpot account and explains what happens to your data. For the full install journey, see the Inbox Spam Filter setup guide.

Before you disconnect or uninstall

  • If you are on a paid plan, cancel or adjust billing in the app’s Billing tab, or contact support.
  • Export or note any dashboard rows you need to keep—historical Inbox Spam Filter dashboard data may become unavailable after disconnect or uninstall.

Disconnect the app

What happens to your data:

  • Inbox Spam Filter stops analyzing new Shared Inbox messages.
  • The app stops writing contact property updates (such as spam_filter_status).
  • Existing HubSpot contacts, conversation history, and property values already written remain in your portal unless you change or clear them yourself.
  • Your HubSpot CRM records and Shared Inbox messages are not deleted by disconnecting.
  1. In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
  2. Select Inbox Spam Filter.
  3. Choose to disconnect the app, then confirm.

Uninstall the app

To uninstall Inbox Spam Filter from HubSpot, follow HubSpot’s instructions: Connect and manage apps in HubSpot (Connected Apps → uninstall).

What happens to your data:

  • The connected app is removed from the portal.
  • HubSpot CRM records and Shared Inbox messages are not deleted.
  • Property values such as spam_filter_status that were already written stay on contacts until you edit or clear them.
  • Historical rows in the Inbox Spam Filter dashboard may no longer be available.
