Write Custom AI Instructions

Add business-specific rules that are appended to the built-in AI prompt. Available on Basic and Pro plans.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Scoring.
  2. Scroll to Custom instructions for the AI.
  3. Enter rules in plain language (up to 4,000 characters).
  4. Example: Classify as spam any pitch for payroll services; never flag email from *@acme.com as spam.
  5. Click Save.

Instructions apply portal-wide for all users on the connected HubSpot account.
