Configure the Spam Threshold

Set how sensitive Inbox Spam Filter is by adjusting the Spam threshold on the Scoring tab.

Prerequisites

• Inbox Spam Filter installed as a connected app in HubSpot
• Admin or settings access for the portal

Steps

1. In HubSpot, open Connected Apps and select Inbox Spam Filter.
2. Go to Settings → Scoring.
3. Find Spam threshold and enter a value from 1 to 100 (default is 70).
4. Messages with an AI score at or above this value are treated as spam.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Tips

• Lower the threshold to catch more borderline spam; raise it if legitimate messages are being flagged.
• Review the dashboard scores and reasoning after changing the threshold.
